Forming part of the Domaine Gayda wine caves and restaurant, the property consists of a large u-shaped building configured as several individual houses in addition to ‘group’ living areas:

4 houses; 3 with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, and 1 with 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms giving a total accommodation of 10 bedrooms and 8 bathrooms for 20 guests.

Each house has its own fully equipped kitchen, dining area and lounge. All houses have UK TV channels and wireless internet access.

In addition there is the main kitchen with facilities and dining table for 20 and a lounge / bar with sky TV, wireless internet and snooker table.

Local Information

The property is situated in the small village of Brugairolles surrounded by the Languedoc vineyards.
20 minutes south of Carcassonne and only 5 miles from the beautiful town of Limoux.

The Domaine Gayda ‘cave’ and restaurant is 500m away.

All amenities including supermarket, café bars and traditional restaurants in Limoux, 10 min drive. Limoux is a charming and very picturesque town with lovely central square. The town is famous for its sparkling wine, second only to Champagne... and a fraction of the price!

Carcassonne with almost endless activities; superb restaurants and café bars, concerts, festivals, medieval shows, sound and light displays.

18 hole golf course with club-hire and driving range.

Beautiful countryside for walking or hiking. Canal du Midi with its shady tree-lined tow-path ideal for cycling and long waterside lunches at local auberges and restaurants. Many historic sites to see including the famous Cathar trail. Visit St Hilaire 8km with its ancient abbey, part of the Cathar trail.

Visit the domaines of the famous Minervois and Corbieres appellations. Gastronomic delights everywhere. Famous chef, John Burton Race filmed his TV series 'French Leave' in the area.

Mediterranean beaches lie just 60 minutes away. Long sandy beaches at Narbonne Plage with excellent opportunities for water sports and windsurfing.

The Spanish border is just 90 minutes away.
